Nitin is a qualified Advocate-on-Record before the Supreme Court of India and has over ten years of experience in representing various corporates, companies, public personalities and High-Net-Worth (HNI) Individuals on various aspects of the law. Nitin has represented top movie actors, politicians, IT/ Energy companies, Journalists, IPS/ IAS officers, Professors, and District Judges, on various aspects of law before the Supreme Court and the High Court.

Nitin's experience and expertise encompass all areas of white-collar crime, corporate and security litigation, Indirect Tax, commercial arbitration, Energy/ Infrastructure laws, General Advisory, and diverse aspects under the Information Technology law including data privacy and confidentiality. Nitin regularly advises companies on various FCPA and IT Compliances.

Nitin regularly appears before the Supreme Court, various High Courts, trial courts, and Tribunals. Nitin also has vast experience in conducting civil and criminal trials on aspects ranging from property, family, matrimonial, corruption, money laundering, Indian Penal Code, and the Negotiable Instruments Act. 

Before founding S&LL Law Chambers, Nitin was an advocate in the Chambers of Sidharth Luthra (Senior Advocate), read law from Amity Law School, Delhi (affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University), and started his practice in 2012.


  • Defended a senior journalist, before the Supreme Court in quashing an FIR registered by a Himachal Pradesh police station accusing the client of sedition.

  • Represented the relatives of a prominent movie actor in a highly publicized matter relating to the transfer of an FIR from Patna to Mumbai, and stay on the investigation by the Bihar police.

  • Represented an Energy Company on the issue of Cost Plus and Tariff Based Competition Bidding available to a Commission while setting up Transmission Project.

  • Represented an IT company, in a PIL filed in the Supreme Court on the preventive measures to be taken by the Intermediaries in posting minor children's pictures on the internet.

  • Represented the family members of India's deceased representative to Palestine, seeking a fresh post-mortem on the deceased.

  • Represented an additional district and sessions judge in Bihar, before the Supreme Court, who was suspended by the Bihar High Court, in challenging the suspension order

  • Represented an Officer on Special Duty (Computer Communication Cell) to a Chief Minister, before the Delhi High Court in a matter relating to phone tapping.

  • Represented the National Commission for Women (NCW) before the Supreme Court, in an appeal of a matter involving the interpretation of the POCSO, 2012, where the Bombay High Court had held that "skin-to-skin" contact is essential for a sexual assault offense under the POCSO Act.

  • Representing NCW in a petition before the Supreme Court of India for enforcement of fundamental rights of minor Muslim women seeking uniform application of penal laws to Muslim women, who contract marriage before attaining the age of majority irrespective of what is professed in personal laws.

  • Representing a prominent public figure accused of an alleged act of sexual harassment at the workplace before the Sessions Court and the Delhi High Court.

  • Represented senior political leader in a petition before the Supreme Court seeking rehabilitation of slum dwellers before the removal of 48,000 dwellings alongside the railway tracks of Delhi.

  • Representing prominent companies and HNIs in commercial suits and insolvency proceedings before various courts and tribunals. Representing a client seeking to enforce his Right to be adopted before the Delhi High Court.

  • Represented a police officer, in Quashing of FIR, directed to be registered against the SHO for lapses in his duty.

  • Represented a Public Servant in the quashing of a summoning order issued under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
